Dec. 8th, 2011 10:38 am[It's been an eventful two days for a sailor stolen away by the Fair Folk. Styles is in an officer's quarters, even though it's all made of metal and glass. There are books on the shelf (at least one of them thoroughly indecent, and he can't read the others, so they've been stacked in the closet.
And he's found what he thinks is a shaving mirror, and it's propped up in the bathroom as he alternates looking at it and the very large glass(!) mirror in the unthinkably luxurious bathroom.
So there's a network feed of a man shaving, trimming up his whiskers, and humming tunelessly.]
[OOC: The British Navy being the spiritual predecessor of Fleet, and Austen's work being as friendly and knee deep in irony and politics as Jurisdiction, Stildyne is spending the Flood as a sailor named Josiah Styles, lately of HMS Laconia, under Captain Fred Wentworth. Then Napoleon abdicated and ruined what had been even for a seaman a pretty profitable war. Froggy bastard.]
